- Dirk was a permanent member of ARTSONIC from 1996 to 1999, doing several French tours with the band

- Fake is the band's second full-length album

- this line-up recorded two cover songs destined to compilations: SEPULTURA's "Inner Self" (with guest vocals by Stéphane Buriez of LOUDBLAST) and IRON MAIDEN’s "The Number Of The Beast" (re-released a few years later as a hidden bonus on the Recidivist EP)

- even though his name and picture are in the CD booklet, Dirk does not play on the band’s first album Sonic Area

- ARTSONIC split up in 2004
